If you’ve ever been to our office, it’s likely that I’ve come out to say hello. I’m Michael’s wife and he jokes that I’m the firm’s “hospitality extraordinaire.” I was only supposed to fill in for two weeks after the loss of a former office manager but I ended up staying for 10 years. Sometimes I teasingly beg Michael to fire me but in reality, I love the work I do.

In college, I studied business administration and as the firm’s business manager and mediation coordinator, I find that I use many of the skills I acquired years ago. Most of my time is spent behind the scenes paying bills and keeping the practice organized. However, I thoroughly enjoy meeting new clients and making them feel at home whenever I can.

Outside of the firm, I dedicate my time to my family and the church. Michael and I are both leaders in a bible study ministry and we spend much of our free time attending lectures and preparing for them. We also have three wonderful children who I initially stayed home to raise. All of them are grown now and make us very proud. Our oldest daughter is a speech pathologist, our youngest teaches second grade and our son is working to further his education. We are both excited to see what else the future has in store for them.
